What is New Build Snagging?

Snagging is a minor defect or problem caused by substandard workmanship or equipment that remains after the building work has been completed. It is typically something that is broken, damaged, not fitted properly or looks unfinished.

This could be anything from uneven flooring and patchy paintwork to blocked drainage, leaks, mould and insufficient loft insulation. The list is endless.

Snagging is the process of thoroughly checking a property and identifying these defects. Here at CG New Build Snagging, as well as identifying snags, we check your home to ensure it's been built to current building regulations and warranty providers standards.

How we Work

CG New Build Snagging works with all types of new build properties - whether it's a one-bed flat or a large detached five-bed family home. Our services cover much of England.

Requirements Discussed

As a new customer, when you get in contact, CG New Build Snagging will discuss your requirements and situation and then book in an inspection as soon after your new-build completion as possible.

Defects Identified and Reported

You will be guided through the defects found, their severity and what will happen if they are left untreated. A report will be issued within two days and sent to the customer.

Progress Followed Up

CG New Build will follow up progress on a weekly basis to ensure resolutions are made, and within a timely manner, so you can have peace of mind that your property is in top condition - just as it should be.
